Description

No, this honey does not taste like Avocado! Honeybees make honey from nectar produced by flowers, which later turn into fruit (if it is a fruiting plant!). This honey was harvested in December from an avocado orchard near Kaikohe in Northland when Manuka was flowering on the nearby hills. Clover nectar in this mix too by the taste of things. This honey has set firm with a fine-grainy texture.
