Mostly Refined Bees Wax Block 1.8kg

Description

Bees wax is popular for making polishes, balms, candles, and food wraps (as a reusable alternative to plastic cling wraps).

At the end of each season I have the wax cappings left over from the honey extraction process, and excess wax scraped off the tops of the frames inside the hive. All these get melted down, and bits of brood husks, dead bees, and other rubbish is filtered out. A little bit of dirt is left behind on the bottom, most of which is scraped off as seen in one of the pictures. I sell these rough blocks at $30/kg by weight.
